Muhammad Rashid Khan
Chartered Physiotherapist (HCPC: PH98880 | CSP: 090999)
We are led by Muhammad Rashid Khan, a Chartered Physiotherapist with over 20 years of clinical experience working across NHS and private settings. Rashid holds full registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP). His background spans first-contact musculoskeletal (MSK) physiotherapy, community and intermediate care rehabilitation, falls prevention, and advanced clinical skills including corticosteroid injection therapy and acupuncture.
Rashid brings over two decades of clinical experience to Physio Assist. He has worked as a Senior and Lead Physiotherapist across multiple NHS Trusts, including community rapid response teams in Leeds, GP-based MSK clinics across Bradford, intermediate care units in Milton Keynes and East Leeds, and specialist falls prevention services in London. He has also practised as Head of Gymnasium and Rehabilitation Lead at Aga Khan University Hospital, Karachi — one of Pakistan's most prestigious tertiary care institutions.
In addition to his physiotherapy degree, Rashid holds

- A Diploma in Health Management
- Advanced certifications in corticosteroid injection therapy and acupuncture
